前作『SANSO』でデビューし、国内はもとより海外からも絶賛の声が多く届けられ、アナログ盤は瞬く間に即完するなど、幅広い層のリスナーから熱い支持を得たCobalt boy。
その後、メンバーチェンジを経て、新たなステージへと駆け出した彼らによる待望の2ndアルバムがここに完成。
不確な未来に向かって、もがきながらもそこへと歩みを進める人々へ向けられ題されたというニューアルバム『Fight!』。きらめきを帯びたメロディを、シンプルかつストレートなバンドサウンドで鳴らすCobalt boyの持ち味はそのままに、よりエモーショナルに、よりダイナミックに＜シューゲイザー×シティポップ＞という独自のギターポップを展開。
そんな新たな音像へと導いたのは、レーベル主宰にしてCobalt boyの名付け親、曽我部恵一。本作のミックスとマスタリングを手掛けました。また、画家・イラストレーター、みなはむが清々しさと躍動感あふれるジャケットアートワークを描き下ろしました（デビューアルバム『SANSO』以来、Cobalt boyの全作品のジャケットアートワークは、みなはむによるもの）。
本作に先駆け昨年7月と9月に配信された「Breath」や「Tropical Boy」、今年3月リリースの先行配信シングル「Silent Moon」を含む、輝きあふれる10曲を収録。

Cobalt boy made their debut with the previous album SANSO, receiving widespread acclaim not only in Japan but also from overseas. The vinyl edition sold out almost instantly, earning them passionate support from a broad range of listeners.
Following a lineup change, the band has stepped boldly into a new stage—now presenting their long-awaited second album.
Titled Fight!, the new album is dedicated to those who struggle forward toward an uncertain future, continuing to take steps ahead despite their doubts. While retaining Cobalt boy’s signature style of shimmering melodies delivered through a simple, straightforward band sound, this release expands their unique guitar pop—fusing shoegaze and city pop—into something even more emotional and dynamic.
Guiding the band toward this new sonic vision is Keiichi Sokabe, head of the label and the very person who named Cobalt boy. He handled the mixing and mastering for this album. The refreshing and vibrant jacket artwork was newly illustrated by painter and illustrator Minahamu, who has created the cover art for all of Cobalt boy’s releases since their debut album SANSO.
The album features 10 radiant tracks, including “Breath” and “Tropical Boy,” which were released digitally last July and September, as well as the advance digital single “Silent Moon,” released this March.
